Grateful

The word for a Miracle in Hebrew is Ness. Those of you practicing Judaism might be familiar with the letters on the Chanukah dreidel that say “Ness gadol haya sham” or “Po”. Meaning a “Great miracle happened there” or “here”. I was listening to a Hebrew class yesterday, and it happened that the teacher was explaining the initials for Ness. She said the “N” is for Nechishut – determination. The “S” for Savlanut – Patience. So a miracle is a combination of determination and patience. Wow! I loved hearing this. First, the idea of determination. It doesn’t come by itself. It takes effort, the patience. Very often Hebrew words or those connected to them with the same root, makes such beautiful philosophical connection I just love it about Hebrew.
I started exercising in bed and it feels great. My friend Noa has a couple of YouTubes for exercising in bed she created herself and sent me. Thank you Noa! It really feels great to be moving, as much as I can, even in bed. My kids are here supporting my recovery in any way we know to and I am grateful to them. I am grateful to all those generous people who sent food, some of which I can’t eat, but it sure helps Bruce who has been putting so much time taking care of me he doesn’t take the time to cook for himself. I am grateful for all the comments you have been leaving me. I read them all, although you might not know that. I read and love each and every comment of love and concern and support you have been leaving on my website. Thank you! I am so thankful to Jonathan for creating the website for me, as well as his endless love and hi-tech support. My daughter Ariella who came all the way from Israel 8 months pregnant to be with me. My daughter Keren who comes and massaged my feet forever. My son Roy, who has been constantly supporting me in moving to a positive space in my future outlook, and much more.
Feeling so grateful and blessed,
Please keep writing. I love reading your precious words.
Thank you.
